Eye Exercises for People with Different Prescriptions for Each Eye
Eye exercises are a natural remedy for anyone suffering from poor vision. There are wide arrays of exercises that can be performed. And, all are able to aid certain eye or vision conditions. One major goal of these exercises is to improve the vision of someone who suffers from different vision capabilities and prescriptions in each eye.
If each of your eyes has different visual abilities, you need a different prescription for each eye’s glasses lens. It can be quite expensive to obtain these custom glasses and contact lenses. But, with the proper eye exercises and eye vitamins, you may be able to eliminate the need for these corrective items, and finally have the vision you have always wanted!
Are Eye Exercises for You?
Eye exercises are effective treatment methods for anyone suffering from nearsightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism or presbyopia. Eye exercises cannot aid problems such as eye muscle spasms or paralysis of the eye muscle. But, they can be extremely effective for correcting many vision problems, including those who have a different prescription for each eye.
Eye exercises can be extremely helpful in improving vision of someone who has one “good” eye and one “bad” eye, or two bad eyes that require different strengths of prescriptions. In many cases, concentrated exercises are the most effective manner of treating these issues, because it allows you to target each eye individually.
These eye exercises consist of covering one eye with a patch in order to exercise the other and bring it to a higher vision quality so that your eyes have equal prescriptions. Once that happens, you can then begin exercising both eyes to improve your vision further. And, in some cases, even eliminate the need for corrective lenses altogether.
The eye exercises that are prescribed are typically specific to each particular patient, depending on current conditions as well as the patient’s age. These factors will determine what will work to improve your vision, based on how poor it is and the factors that have created your poor vision in the first place.
Types of Eye Exercises
There are many different exercises that can be used to improve your vision. The following have been proven to help individuals who have different prescriptions for each eye.
Exercise: The Dot Exercise
To complete this exercise, you simply need to find a dot or comma on the computer screen or printed book and focus on it. Try to make it as clear as possible. You should continue staring at the dot or comma until it is completely in focus. It should become less blurry after only a few seconds of focusing. Try covering one eye and focusing with only one eye at a time. This will help to strengthen the eyes individually. It is a good idea to start with the eye that has the poorer vision, and then continue to do the exercises with both eyes.
Once the comma or period is in focus, you should relax your eyes by closing them for only a few seconds. Then open your eye, or eyes, and look at the same comma or period, but do not strain your eyes. Do not try to stare directly at the dot, but instead have your eyes move above or below the spot.
Your eyes should be moving at this point, which means that you do not need to focus directly on the period. Then, blink your eyes for a second or two. After blinking, try to view the period in your mind and then open your eyes and look at it again. Your eyes should be relaxed and when you look at the dot again, it will be much easier to see.
Exercise: The Double Vision Exercise
This is an exercise that will help your eyes work better together, as a team. In most cases, you will use one eye to focus on what you are looking at and the other will do what it wants. You may squint in order to bring the object into focus with both of your eyes; however, squinting will put unnecessary strain and stress on your eyes.
Instead of squinting, let your eyes relax and then focus on the object in a calm manner, and they can focus together. This will reduce strain, help your eyes work as a team and improve your vision in each eye.
Some other common exercises you can use to help your eyes and vision include:
- Cover one of your eyes with your hand and look at various objects for a short period of time (30 seconds to one minute) instead of staring at only one object.
- Focus on one object and then have your eyes follow a pattern around the object in order to build your vision muscles.
- Make your hands warm by rubbing them vigorously and then cup your warm hands over your closed eyes.
- Move your eyes at the same time in small circles. Imagine your finger moving in a circle in front of your eyes and follow the finger with your eyes.

Hi folks – I used to be able to afford the Ultimate Vision (Rebuild Your Vision Ocu-Plus) supplement… South Africa, is falling behind, as is evident in that the Rand / dollar ratio – is starting to “sky rocket”…
This means that instead of items costing maybe 2 to 3 times what they were – in SA now – its over 10 times the value…
So a small bottle of Ultimate Vision Supplement – now costs – 10 x – what it cost before.,…!!
This is a great blow to me, as I used to get those brilliant tabs – all the time…
I am not asking that I get FREE bottles of tablets.. I just commenting on the fact that I used them, and they worked… !!!!
Now that I cannot get them – I know my eyes are not performing as good as they were…
Thanks Tyler .. for what you doing for the world, that’s interested…
Compliments of the Season to you and your staff..
bye bye
