eye exercises"Six months ago I started riding a motorbike again after a five year break. This time I needed to wear glasses with my helmet and found it very restrictive and cumbersome. I decided to look for alternatives to wearing eyeglasses.

Three months ago I came across Orlin's website and bought a 'Rebuild Your Vision' kit. After three weeks of exercises my vision had improved from around 20/70 to 20/40. "Enjoying the freedom of no longer needing contacts after 35 years..."

eye strengthening exercises"I began the program in early December, 2005. I try to do the exercises daily and have noticed a big improvement. I wore contacts for 35 years but gradually depended more and more on my glasses in addition to the contacts for driving and watching t.v. I was becoming upset because my near vision was impaired by wearing contacts and yet my distant vision was not very good either. In addition, I am developing cataracts and my night vision was becoming so poor, I dreaded driving at night - especially in the rain. At first I didn't see very well, but my near vision was much better than before as my contacts were such that my near vision was distorted in order to see distance. I adjusted very quickly to not wearing contacts. I was able to wear my prescription glasses for driving at night and now could see clearly with them even in the rain. In January, I was traveling and unable to do the exercises so depended on my glasses for distance but when I came back in February and resumed the exercises, my vision has continued to improve. I now only wear my enhancement distance glasses for driving and watching t.v. In addition, I found out three troubling (very troubling) facts.

I've got to get this off my chest before I explode...

FACT:
The Eye Care Industry Is
A $35-Billion-Dollar Monster.

This figure includes eye exams, other tests, prescriptions, glasses, contacts, lasik, etc. The main reason eye doctors don't tell you about eye exercises and vision training is because it would cut into their profits.

I did not want to believe that myself.

But I am only one of tens of thousands who improved their vision with eye exercises. My eye doctor only sees me once a year for an eye exam.

He does not fill costly prescriptions for a new set of glasses or contacts every year. Because I improved my vision with eye exercises my doctor has lost out on over $3,000 in the last few years alone.

Glasses, contacts and surgery do work. But only as a temporary fix. A crutch. Without any longlasting benefits. Your eyes get worse no matter what when relying on corrective lenses or surgery.

The truth is over 90% of vision problems can be corrected without them. Let me tell you why. Pay close attention because this is important...

Most vision problems such as: myopia (nearsightedness)... hyperopia (farsightedness)... presbyopia (aging vision)... and astigmatism may NOT be permanent. These conditions may be relieved and even reversed once you understand the main factors causing poor vision.

And, these main factors include...

Researching the scientific data cleared things up for me...

Bad Eyesight

How he beat it: Optical calisthenics

Twenty-six-year-old Orlin Sorensen dreamed of flying combat missions like his grandfather, but his 20/80 eyesight kept him below standards for naval flight training (20/30, no glasses or surgeries allowed). Commercial airlines, however, aren't as strict—for several years, Sorensen flew for Horizon Air while wearing glasses. Then came September 11, leaving the airline industry decimated and Sorensen flying a lot less. "I was bummed, but I decided to try to turn my life around," he says.

He used the time to put a curiosity to the test: Can a man improve his vision by "exercising" his eyes? Inspired by World War II fighter pilots who used vision-training exercises, and by a 1920 book by Dr. William Bates (The Bates Method for Better Eyesight Without Glasses), Sorensen stockpiled information until he had enough exercises to begin his own program. "I trained my eyes to do things they don't normally do," Sorensen says. "I treated the program like physical exercise."

He "worked out" 25 minutes a day, 6 days a week, for 30 days, doing exercises like slowly rolling his eyes in a full circle. The results? The navy measured his vision at 20/30, he no longer needs glasses, and he's been accepted for pilot training.
